Golden Memories

The memory is always golden hour.

A wheat field at golden hour. The reunion is a hand on a cheek and a forehead touch, framed like a faded photograph.

Other scenes

A cold summit, a warm embrace.

Snow falling, nobody else left.

One last light in the woods.

Footprints that end together.

Wet streets, held hands.
